Astana Dragons have won RC EMS One Fall Cup #3 and qualified for the main round with a 2-0 (16-11 de_mirage_ce, 16-11 de_inferno_se) victory over Finnish ENCE eSports in the grand final. Astana first ran through the Finns of solemn in the opening round, followed by a 21-17 overtime win versus Filip "NEO" Kubski's ESC Gaming in round two on de_mirage_ce. Yegor "markeloff" Markelov's team then took down ALTERNATE 16-9 on de_inferno_se before coming back from a 6-14 deficit versus Markelov's former team Natus Vincere, to win 16-14 on de_inferno_se.
On the other side of the bracket Joona "natu" Leppänen's ENCE eSports pulled a massive overtime upset win over Ninjas in Pyjamas on de_inferno_se, before winning sixteen straight rounds versus Refuse, following a 0-3 start. The grand final saw Astana Dragons continue their strong play while ENCE put up a fight but couldn't stand up to the Kazakhstani backed giants, who scored two 16-11 wins on de_mirage_ce and de_inferno_se.
